Sam Ceci (CHS Varsity Baseball Head Coach; CMS Coaching Director & Team Coach)
Athletic Experience: Graduated USC in 1972, 3 year letterman / National Championship teams, received All-Pac 8, All-District 8, and All-CWS Awards. Signed with Minn. Twins, traded to Milwaukee Brewers, played 4 years, 2 years Triple A.
Coaching Experience: CHS Varsity Head Coach since 1999-attaining 3 League Championship and 2 CIF Championship titles.
Other: Three kids graduated/in CUSD.
Chris Blanton (CHS Varsity pitching coach; CMS Team Coach)
Athletic Experience: Played for Coronado High school from 1997-2000. Pitched for San Diego City College from 2002-2003 and in 2002 was named as a member of the all Pacific Coast Conference Team.
Coaching Experience: Has served as the Coronado High School varsity pitching coach from 2006-2009 in which Coronado has won two CIF titles and a Western League title.
Morgan Cummins (CHS JV coach; CMS Team Coach)
Athletic Experience: Played 4 years Varsity baseball at CHS and was All-Harbor League 4 times and All-CIF. Graduated from Claremont McKenna College with an honors degree in History/Government, along with 4 All-SCIAC, 2 All-West Region, and 1 All-American Award. Signed with the Florida Marlins in 2007 and played for the Jamestown Jammers.
